Outdoor cooking: Visit a local farmers market to pick up the freshest supplies

There's nothing like rustling up a tasty meal on a basic camping stove with simple, wholesome ingredients to achieve the full outdoor experience. Cooking breakfast, lunch or dinner can be an enjoyable and rewarding thing to do and even better if it involves a stroll around a farmers market to get supplies that are fresh from the local area.


You'll find farmers Markets at Hythe, Wye, Elham, Sandgate and Bridge, just be aware that they're not all on every weekend in each location. These are the closest to us:


Hythe Farmers Market every Saturday from 10am till 1pm Outside the Methodist Church Hall, Hythe.

Wye Farmers Market every first and third Saturday from 9am till 12 noon at The Green TN25 5AH.

Sandgate Farmers Market every first and third Saturday 10am to 12.30 in Chichester Hall, Sandgate.

Bridge Farmers Market, every 2nd and 4th Saturday in Bridge Village Hall, High St, CT4 5JZ
